Joe Klunk, Managing Partner
In 2013, Joe led the highly successful carve-out sale of Parkway's fast growth, high technology Aerospace Composites Division to EDAC Technologies, a portfolio company of Greenbriar Equity Partners. This business unit was subsequently resold by EDAC to Meggett, plc (now Parker-Hannifin) in December, 2015.
In 2015, Joe sold the rest of Parkway's industrial and automotive businesses to Capital Partners (now Heartwood Partners), a Connecticut based PE firm to concentrate on growing KTECH.
Joe sits on the Boards of several companies, professional associations & his family charitable foundation.
He is a graduate of Miami University and has an MBA from Xavier University. Prior to joining Parkway, he was a Certified Public Accountant for Deloitte & Touche. Joe resides in Kiawah Island, SC with his wife Laura. They are a "Miami Merger" class of 1978 and have two adult children, Sarah & Andrew.
Prior to founding KTECH, Joe served as Chairman and CEO of Parkway Products, a Florence, KY based global leader in custom molding technologies for 30 years.
During Joe's tenure at Parkway, the Company grew exponentially from a single location to an international business enterprise with focused factories throughout the USA & Mexico.
While At Parkway, Joe orchestrated six acquisitions, four joint ventures, three greenfields and three divestitures. Joe is recognized as an industry expert in M&A activity with a special emphasis on aerospace & plastics.
